In the beginning of 2010, Mo's Gallery & Fine Framing found itself in a crisis. Our invoicing and inventory programs were beginning to fail and have glitches beyond our ability to fix. We were faced with an urgent decision. It would take ten thousand dollars to properly fix our current program. Such an investment was beyond our budget. In all of the hard choices and decision making required in owning a small business, choosing FrameReady was and still is one of my best moves!
I am proud to tell you that we are now in our 11th year of business. I met Carol, Bert and Evelyn almost 9 years ago. I was shopping for a POS software for my fast growing business. FrameReady seemed like the best fit, as with little computer experience, I found myself able to navigate easily with the simple icons and coordinating colors (blue invoice key with blue background). The program was a lot simpler than others I had looked at and worked for my business as a custom framer without unnecessary bells and whistles.
The software has evolved with the growth of my business and with the ever changing marketplace. We started with FrameReady 4 and one Gateway computer (remember the cow print box?) and have recently upgraded to FrameReady 7 which accommodates 5 workstations, a CMC and virtual framing. If I was told that I would need to run a custom framing business without FrameReady and the help of the terrific staff at SoftTouch Solutions I would need to retire! My POS is as important to this business' success as everyone of my employees.

We are a photo and graphic design / production shop with complete custom framing services. We were using a Windows-based software program for our custom frame pricing.
The software was effective, but rather difficult to operate. A bigger problem was keeping Windows working properly on a regular basis.
We operate a dozen Macs here, so after another computer failure with our Windows machine, we looked for an alternative Mac product.
After a short search we came across SoftTouch Solutions on the internet. Within minutes of speaking to them we decided to try FrameReady and haven't looked back since. It simply works on the Mac - the interface is much more elegant than the one we were using previously. Set up was a breeze, and if we ever need help, support is quickly available. It has saved us a tremendous amount of time and energy. Now we can devote our time to creating works of art rather than struggling with software just to price it.

I'm on my 6th year using FrameReady and wouldn't trade it in.
The folks at FrameReady have always been wonderful with me on the phone. I love the POS more everyday, and still discover new aspects of it.
I'm a guy that tends to use software intuitively, and FrameReady is very user friendly. I have an art gallery as well as framing section. The ability of FR to enter all manner of information about my customers has made me look great on many occasions. Whether it's just reminding me of important dates, or special likes or dislikes, it keeps me on top.

The two main things that make this program good are the online tutorials and the direct line to a person when I call with a problem. (I'm not a tech person with computers) Kelly and Carol have been nothing but very patient with me with my many questions and also made sure I understood what I was trying to do.
There are other cheaper programs out there like QuickBooks® that you can modify but why would you waste so much time when FrameReady has everything you need.

We have been operating with FrameReady for over a year and a half now and have been very pleased with the program.
The ease of navigating has to be the biggest plus for us. We previously used a program that made it difficult to recall old orders and view a customer’s history. We really like the fact that you can jump back and forth between screens and retain the information that you were viewing on all the screens.
As the person in charge of managing and updating the software and computers in our gallery, I must say that it is extremely easy to manage. From the ease of customizing reports and menus, to updating prices, to the plain stability of the program, it is great!
