Printing Multiple Work Orders

The printed Work Order is the blueprint to construct your custom frame job and not a customer document.

How to Print Work Orders

It is important to understand that the printed Work Order is the blueprint for constructing your custom frame job - it is not a customer document.

Always use this method of printing when you have more than one Work Order for the same customer, orders which either came in on the same day or are grouped together using the Job # field under the Shop Tab of the Work Order file.

If you use the Printer icon to print a Work Order, then it will NOT print the group of Work Orders, only the one present on the screen.

  1. Go to the Customer's Work Order.

  2. Click the Print Documents sidebar button.

  3. Chose Print for Shop > All [Contact name]’s Orders.

    The print preview shows how many Work Orders are grouped together, e.g. 1 of 5, 2 of 5, 3 of 5, etc.

  4. Click Continue.

OR

  1. Go to the Customer's Work Order.

  2. Click the Print This Customer's Work Orders sidebar button.

 

There Are No Prices on the Printed Work Order

  1. Go to the Main Menu.

  2. In the Work Orders section, click the Options tab.

  3. Click the More Options... button.

  4. In the dialog window that appears, click the Print Options tab.

  5. Put a check in the Prices appear on printed work order checkbox.

  6. Click Done.

To print just one out of a group, use the Printer icon at the top of the screen.

The printed Work Order is an in-house document only. It contains helpful information, such as mat cutter settings, which are not present on the screen. If you are cutting mats manually then it will be necessary to print the Work Order.
