On behalf of SoftTouch Solutions Inc, I would like to express our heartfelt sorrow for the loss of our dear friend and supporter, Vivian Kistler. I first met Vivian in 1996 at the PPFA Spectrum show in Toronto where she approached me and said, 'okay kiddo, show me what you've got.' This was the start of our connection over the years. It was the pricing principles in her book which she authored with Bob Mayfield, "Pricing Custom Framing", that guided the development of our FrameReady software.
In May last year, we developed a closer working relationship when she contacted us and offered to be our spokesperson, writing to us in her straight forward manner, "You, I can endorse." We were thrilled and honoured to work with her.
Vivian was scheduled to be with us in our booth at the West Coast Art and Frame Show in Las Vegas in a few weeks. We looked forward to spending more time with our fellow Canadian and friend. She will be sadly missed by all of us here.

ReadyFrame has been rebranded to FrameReady Lite. Those of you who are using the Lite program have the chance to upgrade to a new version FrameReady Lite 7.0v1. ReadyFrame will continue to be supported. It may also be upgraded to the full version at any time.

SoftTouch Solutions Inc. announces the release of FrameReady 7.0. POS pricing and retail management software in all versions: FrameReady, FrameReady Lite and FrameReady Multi Site. This upgrade will increase profitability and customer service, while reducing costs.
"Perhaps the handiest feature, is a quick Price Checker button", says President Bert de Roo. The Price Checker quickly fetches the retail price per foot of any moulding.
New features include: Metric capability, savings column on printed summaries showing exact discounts on components, an interface with FrameVue visualization software, an employee Time Card feature, the ability to assign your own login passwords, the ability to assign invoice numbers to match other accounting software, a printed image directory for art inventory, the export ability to maintain art inventory on websites, and enhanced screens tabs to keep information organized for easy reference. Other items are: quantity boxes for frame components, one-click column sorting, and verification of discontinued moulding and matboard items.
Along with electronic versions of their User Guides, SoftTouch Solutions Inc is one of the few software companies which still provides printed, bound copies of their manuals to all new purchasers.
