When do I need FileMaker Server?

When networking FrameReady on more than three computers, it is highly recommended that you use FileMaker Server.
FileMaker Server greatly improves the network performance, reliability and security of your FrameReady program.
It also allows remote access to your FrameReady software over the internet via Remote Desktop (PC), Apple Remote (Mac) or via a Virtual Private Network (required to network multiple store locations over the internet).
